Fishing gear and weapons
The official description says cash buys new lures and weapons. The September 6 walkthrough identifies Sharpen Knife as an upgrade at Fisherman Joe. These establish examples, not a complete equipment catalogue.
Bait, weapon cards and what the interface confirms
Read the rod and bait prompts separately from the weapon card at the side of the screen.
In the inspected PC image, the Fishing Rod appears in the bottom hotbar, Basic Lure is displayed as the bait, and B is assigned to Change Bait. When your interface shows that same prompt, use B for that action. The image does not show the full bait catalogue or its unlock requirements.
Does the OP Uzis card mean I already own the weapon?
Not by itself. The orange OP Uzis card appears in a separate left-hand panel and carries a single-use label. Its presence does not establish that the weapon is equipped, included in the starting inventory or available without a purchase.
Check your actual tools and any purchase details shown in your session. Do not read a sidebar card as an inventory receipt. The picture does not verify the weapon's current price, currency or damage.
Check the current knife-upgrade price
A guide published September 7 reports Sharpen Knife at $15. Treat that as a dated report, not a verified current shop price. Budget using the price in your game and the cash you actually have—not a guaranteed number of Carp catches.
For the earlier steps, use the first-sale checklist. For inputs, see controls and boat parties.

Why there is no tier list
The reviewed material does not provide comparable damage, attack speed, lure rates or upgrade scaling. It therefore cannot establish a best purchase order. The knife upgrade is a reported option, not a required purchase or a proven optimum.
For input prompts after equipping your rod, use the Controls and Boat Parties guide.
Quick answers
Does a named upgrade guarantee a specific damage increase?
No verified damage change is available in this review. Read the current item description instead of assigning a guessed percentage.
Is this a complete equipment catalogue?
No. Basic Lure and Sharpen Knife are reported examples, not a complete list or a ranked purchase order.
